Terms of Service

Agreement

By accessing or using Little Outreach (the “Service”), including the website and JSON API, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The FAQ summarizes certain fees, policies, and programs for convenience. If anything in the FAQ conflicts with these Terms, these Terms control.

Right to refuse or end service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, including declining new registrations, declining to renew or extend access, suspending or terminating accounts, or ending a business relationship, with or without cause and without owing you a reason, except where prohibited by applicable law. Without limiting the foregoing, we may do so when we believe you or your use of the Service involves spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, deceptive or unethical outreach, fraud, misrepresentation, harassment, scraping-to-spam, sanctions or legal risk, payment risk, or any conduct we consider harmful to other users, data subjects, deliverability, or our operations.

The Service

The Service provides directory search, profile pages, and programmatic access via API keys. Features may change; we may add, modify, or discontinue functionality. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, non-payment (if applicable), violation of these Terms, or as described in the sections below (including regional eligibility and export restrictions).

Fees, billing, credits, and referrals

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, API usage is billed at one U.S. cent (US$0.01) per API call by default, subject to the pricing, credits, taxes, and payment terms shown in your Account or billing interface at the time of use.

We may offer discounts for verified students and job hunters; eligibility and rates are determined by us and displayed in Account or billing settings.

New accounts may receive promotional credits (currently US$50 for new sign-ups, subject to change). Credits may expire, may be promotional only, and are applied according to the terms shown at sign-up or in Account.

We may operate a referral program. If you refer a user who completes sign-up, you may earn additional credits (currently US$10 per qualifying referral, subject to change). Referral attribution, fraud review, and disqualification rules are set by us and described in Account. We may modify or end referral or credit programs at any time.

Eligibility and regional restrictions

You may use the Service only where we choose to offer it. We may refuse registration, suspend, or terminate access based on residency, location, payment risk, abuse patterns, sanctions, or legal requirements.

We do not offer accounts to users located in or ordinarily resident in India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, or the People’s Republic of China. We may update this list, require additional verification, or apply blocks for other regions to reduce spam, fraud, and abuse and to protect users and deliverability. If you move into or out of a restricted region, you must comply with our then-current eligibility rules.

Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for activity under your account and for any use of your API keys. You must provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. Notify your administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights.
• Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization, or interfere with the Service or other users.
• Use automated means to scrape or harvest data in a way that overloads the Service or bypasses technical limits, except as expressly permitted.
• Upload or request processing of unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Use the Service to send spam, misleading or deceptive outreach, bait-and-switch tactics, or bulk unsolicited messages; to misrepresent who you are or why you are contacting someone; to operate list-broker or lead-generation schemes aimed at mass cold email; or to facilitate fraud, phishing, credential abuse, or other shady or harmful behavior (including attempts to evade detection).
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent our no-export rules (below) by repeatedly calling the API, scripting downloads, or aggregating directory data to replicate a spreadsheet or bulk export.

No spreadsheet, CSV, or bulk exports

The Service does not provide spreadsheet, CSV, or similar bulk export downloads of directory data as a product feature. You will not use the Service (including the API or integrations such as MCP clients) to recreate such exports for the purpose of mass off-platform mailing, resale of lists, or spam. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that attempt bulk extraction or abuse.

Enforcement

We may monitor for abuse. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts or integrations, remove access to features, or block traffic when we believe it is necessary to protect users, third parties, infrastructure, deliverability, or legal compliance. We are not obligated to provide prior notice where we reasonably believe delay would increase risk of harm, abuse, or legal exposure.

Data and directory content

You are responsible for directory data you submit or manage. You represent that you have the rights and consents needed for that processing. The Service may expose data to authenticated users or APIs according to your configuration and role permissions.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Directory information may be incomplete or outdated.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100), IF NO FEES APPLIED.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, and employees against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

General

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to your agreement with the operator of this deployment, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
