We built Little Outreach to help you discover verified professional contacts and use them responsibly through our website and API. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Service.
Overview
Little Outreach (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a people and organization directory with search and a JSON API. This policy describes how we handle information when you use our website and services.
We do not tolerate spammy, deceptive, or shady use of the product (including misuse of personal data for bulk unsolicited outreach). We process data as described below in part to detect abuse and protect users and data subjects. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone when we believe it is necessary to enforce our standards—see also our Terms of Service.
Information we process
- Account and authentication. If you sign in, we process identifiers and profile details needed to operate your account (for example, email and name when you use Google sign-in, as permitted by your Google account settings).
- API access. We issue and validate API keys so you can call our API. Keys are secrets; you are responsible for keeping them safe.
- Usage and technical data. We may log requests, IP addresses, patterns of API use, and similar data for security, reliability, abuse and spam prevention, fraud detection, and improvement of the service—including identifying behavior we consider spammy, deceptive, coercive, or otherwise inconsistent with legitimate outreach.
- Directory content. The service may display or expose information about people, organizations, places, and related records as submitted or imported under your organization’s policies. You are responsible for the lawfulness of data you add or request through the API.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar mechanisms needed for sessions, security, and preferences. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling essential cookies may limit sign-in or certain features.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, operate the API, troubleshoot issues, comply with law, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We retain information as long as needed to run the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may depend on the type of data and how the service is configured for your deployment.
Your choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to processing. Contact us using the details your administrator provides for this deployment. We may need to verify your request.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
